Bob & Sue Jones – Missionary Evangelists
Pray for Bluegrass Boys:
The Bluegrass Boys Quartet has been singing together since 1962. Through the years, changes have been made. The present group has been singing together for 58 years and is made up of Ronnie Wolfe, Bob Jones, Bobby Lakes, and Carl Morton. Many health problems have come through the years. Ronnie Wolfe had a stroke last year and it caused him to lose control in his arms. He has to use a wheel chair to get around so he can no longer pastor or play the piano. I, Bob Jones, have had some health issues as four years ago I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Thankfully, doctors seemed to have gotten it all and presently I am cancer free and able to preach and travel as the Lord opens the doors. Carl Morton had to have gallbladder surgery and although he is fine now, he has problems walking very far and going up and down steps. He is still able to pastor. A few days ago, Bobby Lakes had a stroke which left him having to use a walker at present. Through therapy he hopes he can soon do away with the walker and continue pastoring. So, as you can see we all need your prayers.
Missionary Evangelist Bob Jones:
I have the privelege to preach usually a couple of times per month on our daily prayer portal and usually once on our Saturday night prayer call.
Bob & Sue Jones:
My wife, Sue, is in a nursing home and continues to decline in health. Thank you for your continued prayers and your faithful support.

Tim & Kim Whitfield – Global Ambassadors for World Mission
Dear Praying Friends,
Summer seems to be a slow time for us as far as scheduling is concerned, but we still manage to have plenty to do around the house, dealing with family matters, and our local church. Praise the LORD for 2 new supporting churches! Thank you to Bethel Baptist Church (Pastor Bryan Cooper) in Richmond Hill, Georgia and Faith Baptist Church (Pastor Doyle Ashburn) in Pikeville, Tennessee.
After a stress test in May came back with some abnormal results, my cardiologist scheduled me for a heart cath on June 20th. Nothing came up then and I have a follow-up appointment on July 12th. We really like the approach he takes with his patients. He prefers to be proactive and take preventative steps, rather than wait for a heart attack. AMEN! Kim continues to do well with her new knee if she doesn’t overdo it. She has only experienced some discomfort when she is on her feet too much. Overall, we are both happy and healthy.
Today I helped with some mowing at the church (riding mower). Tomorrow we will help do some cleaning on the pews as we prepare for our Mission Conference at Central next month. We have a full schedule in September with meetings scheduled in several churches. We are still praying for some additional monthly support to help supplement our social security. We are grateful we can travel and do what the Lord called us to do. What a blessing to serve the Lord Jesus together!
Please continue to pray for our health, safety as we travel, and more open doors of opportunity to assist pastors as they help people to develop a HEART for World Missions. Remember, WORLD MISSIONS MUST BE CAUGHT AS WELL AS TAUGHT! Dear Pastor, please call me today at 870-615-0705 to discuss we might be of service to you as you continue leading your people to be a “MISSIONS HEARTED CHURCH.”

Bro. Tim Whitfield
